Couples Counseling Program
Dr. DeSarbo and therapist Meg Megin, C.S.W., have developed a unique treatment program for couples who may be in crises or simply having difficulty in their relationship. The program includes individual counseling with their therapist and meeting together with both therapists on a scheduled basis for couples treatment. Any medication management, if necessary, will be monitored by Dr. DeSarbo, making the treatment complete, coordinated and convenient. This treatment model has been around for some time but is often difficult to find in the community since it takes a special physician-therapist relationship for effective practice. Dr. DeSarbo and Meg Megin have been working closely together since 2005 and have a deep understanding of how each practices. This physician-therapist relationship ensures that the goals for couples treatment are not jeopardized by the types of miscommunication often encountered in other couples counseling programs.
